On Coruscant Jedi
Knight Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan Ahsoka Tano have
been ordered by Master Yoda to search for Senator
Amidala who has been kidnapped prior to an important
Senate speech. Believing that she is still on Coruscant,
Anakin dismisses his Padawan from assisting him in this
search telling her to monitor communications.
Fearful for his wife's safety, Anakin travels deep
beneath the levels of the Galactic Senate to Coruscant's
undercity, where he begins his search using some rather
unorthodox Jedi methods. He soon learns that she is
being held by a notorious gang of
street-pirates-for-hire known as The Burning Rancors. It
isn't long before he infiltrates the gang's hideout and
wastes no time getting past the various security
measures including motion detecting laser canons, a
spike pit and numbers of thug guards. A short time later
he discovers the prison cell holding his wife but is
surprised to find two Senator Amidala's being held
captive. It turns out that both "Senators" are
in fact Padmé's decoys, Sabé and Eirtaé, who explain
to Anakin that the real Senator is safe and well in a
secure location.
The following day when Senator Amidala gives her speech
to the Galactic Senate, Obi-Wan fills in the details:
the Jedi Council had learned of a Separatist plot to
kidnap the Senator and so used Padmé's decoys and
Anakin's search to flush out the villains. |
