Star Wars: Knight Errant is an exciting new comic and novel series penned by John Jackson Miller, author Knights of the Old Republic comic book series and Lost Tribe of the Sith e-Book novellas.

Set a thousand years before The Phantom Menace, in a time known as the Dark Age of the Republic, it tells the story of a young female Jedi Knight, Kerra Holt, who finds herself alone in Sith controlled space and questions what it means to be a Jedi in a period when the Sith are in ascendancy and the Jedi and Republic are strained to breaking point.

Third series of Knight Errant announced
Dark Horse Comics has confirmed at this year's New York Comic Con that there will be a third 5-part mini-series for Knight Errant titled Escape:

Fan favorite John Jackson Miller is writing the series, with artwork from penciller, Marco Castiello, inking by Vincenzo Acunzo, colors by Michael Atiyeh and lettering by Michael Heiser.
Jedi Knight Kerra Holt continues her one woman crusade against the Sith from behind enemy lines on her most dangerous mission yet!

The first issue of Knight Errant: Escape is due to go on sale in June 2012.
